Question 1

Which tournament formats are supported?

Accepted Answer

Single elimination and round robin. You can chain them in stages, for example a round robin stage followed by another round robin or a knockout.

Question 2

Can players pay registration fees in the app?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Entry fees are paid in the app per team, not per player, and payment confirms the team’s slot.

Question 3

Do we need special hardware for the TV boards?

Accepted Answer

No, and you don’t need TV boards to run a tournament at all. If you want them, any TV that can connect to a computer, or to the internet directly or wirelessly, can show the broadcast view.

Question 4

Can we run a tournament if we are not a SportsHub on Sports360?

Accepted Answer

Tournaments run at SportsHubs on Sports360, but you don’t have to own one: clubs can host tournaments as long as the venue is registered on Sports360. Run a venue yourself? You don’t have to switch everything at once. Start with the part you need, like tournaments or open play, alongside what you use today. Most hubs that start with one piece end up running everything on it. Book a demo to see what Sports360 could do for your whole SportsHub.
